Welcome to The GDG and CôtéGold BlastCaptain DevFest Challenge 2024, where tech innovation meets the mining industry! Sponsored by CôtéGold, an IAMGOLD company. The DevFest (hackathon) is designed for tech enthusiasts, coders, data scientists, and machine vision specialists who are ready to dig deep into the world of mining technology. Our focus this year is on Open Pit Blast Recognition and Analysis, and your challenge is to provide a qualitative rating to an open pit blast from drone video footage.

How to Prepare:

• Brush up on machine learning algorithms, particularly those used in pattern recognition and video analysis.
• Use tools like Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other applicable technologies.
